I’m working on the last 5 pages, one page is 95% finished, two of them I’m coloring and two of them I’m inking. So it’s coming along nicely.
Page 6 has gone through some enhancements – let’s see what we have done with it…

I tidy up the placement of the word ballons. It’s a page of talking boobs, let’s not hide them.
Contrast: made the last panel and its shadows darker and added some highlights on the characters and crystal ball, looks more like a dark room now.
A little detail but I like how it turned out – added white blurry corners to the top panel making it round like the crystal ball.
And a bunch of minor things.
Here’s a little thing I just relized – the spacing between the rows of text in comic typography tends to be quite tight so I adjusted that. And you’ll save a tiny bit of space too.
Ok, that’s one page, that’s 70 more pages to go…
While I’m upscaling and reuploading the Book 1 pages to fit the new page layout I thought I might as well tweak them a little bit and improve upon them.
Most of it will be tweaking the colours; stronger contrasts, rearrange the word ballons and sound FX. and stuff like that so maybe itt won’t be so obvious without a side by side comparison.
I’ll probably won’t redraw any of the figures but some of them may need small proportion changes (the heads get rather large sometimes!).
I may add some more backround stuff and little things like that, though.
And it could use some more emphasizing on speed/impact-lines.
NEXT POST: I’ll pick a random page and let’s see if wee can improve it!
Well, maybe not the audience but the image size of the comic is. The old 750 px looked fine on my ancient monitor but seems really tiny on my new fancy one. I’ll change it to 900 px wide, should be good. I don’t know how this will effect other devices or if it will load too slow for some of you. If you think this is a bad idea let me know.
I’ll slowly work my way trough resizing the comic.
Hey, while I’m at it – if there’s any poor spelling in the comic you want fixed let me know in the comments or mail and I’ll fix that too.
The pixel journey continues. It started with a ZX Spectrum pixel image I posted here earlier. I’m working on a Commodore 64 and an Amstrad image as well, but they got put on a hold for this project.
Here we’re playing with 16-bits! It was going to be a mockup for an Amiga game at first and it grew from there. Added animation and background tiles and put this together in Gdevelop. I couldn’t get the background tiles to work in Gdevelop at the moment but I have some more stuff there.
Maybe one day I’ll have enough to put together a level (of a simple game, I know my limitations…)
